Homeless Services

Gateways Homeless Services' location in Silver Lake provides an ideal opportunity to address the needs of adults in this densely populated region. Gateways has been serving the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless since 2001.

Mission Statement

To provide an integrated, comprehensive continuum of non-traditional services addressing the need of mentally ill adults who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
To assist those who reside at the Gateways Apartments in maintaining permanent housing and integrate into the community.
Referrals come from a variety of sources including other homeless providers, county agencies, concerned citizens, relatives, law enforcement and self-referral.

Outpatient Program

Our program is located at the People Assisting the Homeless (P.A.T.H.) service mall and accepts clients with or without insurance coverage.

12 Bed TAY Shelter

Temporary shelter for young adults (Transitional Aged Youth) suffering from mental health issues This site offers both food and a place to sleep and there is no charge for these services.
