Priscilla Ortega
Pricilla Ortega works as the Director of Quality Improvement at Gateways. She leads and oversees all quality improvement activities aimed at enhancing patient care and optimizing operational efficiency. Pricilla works tirelessly to find where Gateways can be improved and works to make sure that we are operating at our utmost full capacity. To accomplish this goal, Pricilla develops and implements programs that continuously assess patient care and outcomes to ensure the highest standards are met. She then tracks and monitors the results of these efforts, providing regular updates to staff, leadership, and the Board of Directors, to inform decision-making and guide future initiatives. She takes the extensive knowledge she gathers on how to better operate here at Gateways, then spreads that knowledge through Gateway’s to guarantee seamless operation within our company. A critical aspect of Pricilla’s role is utilizing health information technology and data systems to support the clinical care team, making sure all of the information collected is data driven. Pricilla now only uses the technology to support teams, but she also is able to oversee risk management and safety, ensuring that Gateway’s operations not only meet clinical and regulatory standards but also maintain a safe and secure environment for both patients and staff. Priscillas efforts work to ensure a quality company, and a safe environment for all of our staff to be a part of.
