Elizabeth Morris

Elizabeth Morris is the Director of Psychology and Social Services here at Gateways. In this position, she makes incredible use of her knowledge as a licensed clinical psychologist. As the Director of Psychology and Social Services, Elizabeth is trusted with overseeing all psychology staff and trainees. She oversees the Social Services Department for the organization as well. With her leadership and skill set, both the Psychology and Social Services department are  flourishing. She displays expert leadership and an intense knowledge and passion for psychology, making Elizabeth an expert director. She uses her knowledge to provide insightful clinical supervision to practicum, intern, and postdoctoral level students at Gateways Hospital within both the inpatient units and outpatient clinic. Elizabeth additionally provides trauma-informed treatment to adults and adolescents as part of the multidisciplinary team at Gateways Hospital. In collaboration with other professionals, she integrates her expertise in trauma-informed care into comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring that each client receives support that acknowledges their unique experiences and needs. Elizabeth extends her services beyond Gateways by implementing her knowledge and skills, to provide empowering testimony in the Los Angeles Superior Mental Health Court for evaluations of grave disability as it relates to LPS conservatorship.
