In a state where one in seven adults suffers from some form of mental health issue, undocumented and low-income people will be able to receive psychiatric services free of charge at an Echo Park hospital.
Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center in Echo Park will treat mental health issues for people without access to pay or without documentation, completely free of charge; the methods are innovative and hope to mitigate some of the mental health crisis in California.
