HOMELESS SERVICES

Gateways' location in Echo Park provides an ideal opportunity to address the needs of adults in this densely populated region. Gateways has been serving the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless since April 2001.

MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of our Gateway's Homeless Services program is to provide an integrated continuum of non-traditional mental health services that focus on the needs of adult mentally ill and dually diagnosed individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Services focus on symptom reduction and restoration of functions consistent with enhanced self-efficiency.

Referrals come from other providers of homeless services, county agencies, the law enforcement community, concerned citizens relatives and self-referrals.

Our program is located at the People Assisting the Homeless (P.A.T.H.) service mall.
